Empowerment has equipped more than 40,000 orphans in Kenya to overcome poverty.
Orphaned and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty are abused, sick and isolated from their community. Handouts and begging helps them to survive temporarily. Our solution addresses all their challenges, across eight areas of life, equipping them to overcome poverty with their own efforts—and for good.
Group Empowerment
We unite a vulnerable child to a peer group, ranging from 60-100 members, within their community.
Holistic Training
Over three-years, the child is provided training, tools and resources to take the lead in the journey out of poverty.
Self-Sufficient
With each barrier of poverty overcame, the child graduates with confidence and pride, completely self-sufficient.
Community Impact
Now empowered, the child passes his knowledge and skills onto his siblings and other community members.
